About Portie

It hasn't been until the last couple years that Jon (Portie) has really focused on fitness. He has seen many people close to him deal with health problems based around their fitness and he didn't want the same to happen to him. In 2008 Portie decided to make a significant change in his physical life and that started with losing over 80lbs. He has been involved in a number of fitness activities but his all time favorite is Latin Dancing. This style of dancing became a passion of his when he moved to Latin America as a teenager. Ever since then Portie has been dancing, Salsa, Merengue, Cumbia, Bachata, Samba, and his all time favorite Regueton/Hip Hop. He loves to share his passion for such dance in what is now called in the fitness world Zumba. Members of Portieâ€'s class will enjoy the excitement he has and energy that is practically contagious to bring his clients into the ultimate fitness level and calorie burn zone. Come join the party with Portie as your host. Often called the Portie Party!
